Mia House

Built 2016

Santiago | Chile

Mountain Retreat in the Andes

Nestled in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, Mia House offers a serene retreat with unparalleled views of the valley, unobstructed for miles. Designed to harmonize with its breathtaking surroundings, the house gracefully floats over two terraces, fully embracing the landscape and the unique life in the mountains.

One of the primary challenges was the steep slope of the land, which we transformed into an opportunity to create an efficient and expressive space. The house is ingeniously divided into three levels, each thoughtfully crafted to capture the essence of mountain living.

Constructed with Structural Insulated Panels and materials readily available from your local warehouse, Mia House is a testament to both innovative design and practical execution. Remarkably, this architectural object was brought to life in just three months, showcasing a blend of speed, efficiency, and quality.

Mia House stands as a reflection of its stunning location, offering a modern yet timeless connection to the natural world.
